Tuesdays
6:30-7:30pm - SALSA ON2 OPEN WORK (Level 2.5)
This class will focus on musicology, body movement, shines, and partner work combinations. Students must have completed all prior levels in order to attend this class.
7:30-8:30pm - SALSA ON 2 SKILLS TRAINING (Level 3)
This class will focus entirely on drills, social dance situations, and complex choreography at a more intense pace. This course is only open to students who have the instructor’s permission.
*We do not accept Level 1 drop-in students after Week 2, as the material will already be past the “brand-new dancer” level. Please consider joining us at the beginning of a monthly cycle if you are a new dancer 🤗*
If you reserve a spot but are unable to attend classes for whatever reason, please let us know so that we can apply your sign-up for a different month of classes. If you'd prefer a refund, we can issue a partial refund of 95% due to the high costs of card processing fees kept by processors (even in the event of a refund).

ALL BACHATA LESSONS WILL MOVE TO ¡A BAILAR! WEDNESDAYS AT SOTTO
Starting in June, our Bachata instruction will take place at our weekly ¡A Bailar! Wednesdays at Sotto. We will have two sets of instructors teaching separate groups simultaneously (beginner and intermediate) prior to the social dancing portion of the evening. The progression of the material will follow the calendar month, so the 1st Wednesday will be more accessible while the 4th Wednesday will challenge students more. There will not be any pre-registration required for these Bachata lessons, as they’ll be included in the $10 cover charge to attend the event.
POP-UP WORKSHOPS
Depending on our monthly schedule, we periodically host pop-up workshops to complement our weekly partnerwork learning at the studio.
Topics normally include the following:
-Musical breakdowns (from a dancer’s perspective)
-Musical social dancing (dancing TO the music)
-Merengue, Cumbia, Bolero, and Cha Cha Chá
Stay tuned on our social media pages, website, and our e-mail newsletter for upcoming workshops!
As these are group lessons, we have dancers switch partners throughout the class. Dancers that sign up together as a pair are welcome stay together and out of the rotation if they wish. We just encourage you to please communicate this to the other dancers during class.
LEVEL BREAKDOWN
Level 1: A student that has never taken organized Latin dance lessons and isn’t familiar with counting, tempo, and other fundamental terminology. Combination of techniques not yet expected.
